A week until takeoff...

I can't believe it's a week until Crista and I embark on our journey. The details are coming together as we enter our final days: Crista has her passport, we have our hotels and transportation booked, and the packing list has been started. We are assisting with art sessions at two schools, plus we are in charge of the activity time. Here is a brief rundown of our time...

Monday, July 13 - Head to NY with Mom and Dad

Tuesday, July 14 - Fly out of JFK at 10AM towards Tokyo (14hrs)

Wednesday, July 15 - Arrive in Indonesia at 8PM local time (spend the night in the airport hotel)

Thursday, July 16 - 6AM flight to the city of Malang, 12pm first art sessions begin

Friday, July 17 - Art sessions

Saturday, July 18 - Art sessions

Sunday, July 19 - Swimming/rest

Monday, July 20 - Tour area sites

Tuesday, July 21 - Art sessions

Wednesday, July 22 - Art sessions

Thursday, July 23 - Art sessions

Friday, July 24 - Art sessions/final show

Saturday, July 25 - Monday, July 27 - Help my friend prepare to move, assist with prep for training session in Banda Aceh, hike to the top of an active volcano, and other fun stuff

Tuesday, July 28 - 3pm fly from Malang to Jakarta, 10pm fly to Tokyo

Wednesday, July 29 - Fly from Tokyo to JFK, take train home

Thursday, July 30 - sleep all day:-)
