Adventure can be around the corner or across an ocean. It's a mindset, a way of approaching the world around us with awe and wonder and a willingness to explore. Travel takes us out of our home and into the land of adventure.
Perhaps my love for adventure began when I got my first bike and could go beyond the confines of the yard. Eventually, the bicycle took me passed my street and to the dairy 1.5 miles away for farm-fresh ice cream. The desire to explore hasn't stopped since, nor has the love for good, creamy ice cream. I feel blessed every time I trod on new soil, take in new vistas, and experience different cultures.
There is a growing list of places to visit, and a healthy desire for adventure. With strategic planning, a friend or two keen for adventure, and time in the schedule... great capers await!
