Day 4: History lesson

Versailles

We headed to Versailles in the pouring down rain and hoped that the 20 min. train ride would clear things up. Didn't work, it was still raining when we got there. We made our way around the Chateau and decided to forego the garden tour.

There was a little problem with the umbrella situation. I think the winds got the better of it!

The umbrella was put away for the much more fashionable pashmina.

The audio tour was very informative, and the plus, you could jump ahead if you got bored!

The only view of the gardens that we saw was through the windows.
