Day 12 - We stopped how many times?

Day 12 - Missoula, MT to Sula, MT - 82.8 miles - 2017 ft of elevation gain

This is going to be a short post because I’m writing it from the van along the side of the road. I had to drive back a few miles to get cellular coverage to send information about the bike repair that is still in progress. Today was a day of many stops for phone calls about the bike repair, 4 flats on one bike, and water and food stops. It was a long, but pretty day, also hot!

We were on a paved trail parallel to the main road for about 40 miles. It was a nice break from being beside traffic. Then the last 40 was on a two lane road without too much traffic, just fast moving vehicles. The last 10 miles was a blurr because we were all ready to finish, until we came to a crawl while they painted the center lines. Thankfully we were able to skirt on the shoulder and knock out the last 4 miles.

Tonight we are cooking out on the grill and having a campfire. Tomorrow we climb 🤫
