Cycling the Atlantic Coast of Florida

Beginning on Saturday, January 29, our group of six cyclists are going to make their way down the Atlantic coast of Florida. Beginning in Jacksonville Beach and ending in Key West, we will bike for 6 straight days for about 500 miles.

It just so happens that our timing is also correlating with a cold front passing through Florida. On Saturday morning the temps are projected to be 37 degrees with a windchill of 25 degrees. It’s like we brought the northern weather south! It is supposed to improve by Monday and climb to the 60s, a much better temperature for cycling in Florida in January/February.
